Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I
have to sign a contract?
No contract is necessary. I trust you will pay me because you care very much about your pets.
If you do not pay me on time I will discontinue service until payment is received. You can terminate this service by phone
if you give a 48 hour notice so I can remove you from my scheduled route.
Can you work with my dog(s) in the yard?
I
love animals and can usually get along well, however, if you know that your dog is uneasy with strangers or it becomes apparent
that your dog(s) will not allow me in the yard to clean it, then I ask that you restrain or confine the dog(s) that day.
Do
I have to be home on service days?
No, after the initial meeting and the first time cleaning, it will not be necessary
for you to be there. Of course I need to get in the house to clean the litter boxes, so someone should be home or I will need
a key.
Should I unlock my gate?
Yes, please make sure your gate is unlocked on service days. If there is a lock
on your gate, I must have a key or the combination to get in. Please make sure your gate is in good condition. Its not the
pets I have problems with, only the gates. I can't count how many times I have been injured by a gate!!!
Do you work
year round?
Yes, dogs and cats poop all year-round, so I work all year-round. Weather is rarely a factor. I would only
stop during a very heavy rainfall, hail or thunderstorm. If I am unable to provide service that day, I will try to make it
up later in that week or resume service the following week. For cat litter boxes, this is not an issue.
What about
holidays?
I am closed all of the major holidays. If a holiday falls on your service day, then service will resume the following
week. My vacation time would be done this same way.
What happens if I forget to unlock the gate or my dog(s) will not
allow you in to clean or no one is home to let you in?
I understand things happen, so you will not be charged the first
time this occurs, however after that you will be charged the regular service fee.
How do I pay your company?
First
time clean ups and one time clean ups, payment is due on that day, after that, all other clean ups you can be billed for.
I accept cash, checks or money orders. I bill at the end of the month and payments must be paid by the 20th . A $5.00 late
fee will be charged if payment is received after the 20th. If payment is not made within 7 days of the late fee, service will
be temporarily suspended till payment is received and your account will be changed to my pre payment plan.
Is there
any extra charges I would have to be aware of?
Yes, if there is alot of debris like leaves and branches that would need
to be picked up in order to get all the waste or if you have bark, rock, tall weeds or if your grass areas are not mowed frequently,
there will be an addtional fee.
Why should I pay someone to do this?
If you have a very busy lifestyle and
cannot find the time to do this necessary task,or perhaps you are not physically able to do it, then I am here to help. It
is very important to make sure all the dog waste is removed regularly because it carries diseases, attracts flies and is a
big contributor to water pollution. If your cat litter box is not cleaned regularly, your cat will let you know by using other
areas of your home to do their doody.
